About Mapleton, Utah

Mapleton is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 7,979 at the 2010 census.
The Place was first fixed in 1850, and for a grow old was known as Union Bench. It started out as an agricultural enlargement of Springville.
