Springdale is a town in Washington County, Utah, United States. The population was 529 at the 2010 census. It is located brusquely outside the boundaries of Zion National Park, and is oriented regarding the resulting tourist industry. It was originally established as a Mormon crop growing community in 1862 by evacuees from the flooding of welcoming Northrop. Springdale was named one of the 20 ‘prettiest towns’ in the United States by Forbes Traveler in 2008.

The 1992 St. George earthquake destroyed three houses as competently as above- and below-ground utilities, causing virtually US$1 million in damage. Springdale is set in Zion Canyon in the same way as Mount Kinesava to the west, and The Watchman to the east. The North Fork Virgin River courses through town unexpectedly before the confluence taking into consideration the Virgin’s East Fork.
